Safer Swimmer Comparison
Attention open water swimmers! Let's stay safe out there and take a look at our highly visible, bright orange, safer swimmer buoys. Even if you are the most competent and confident swimmer it is still important to be visible to others around you. Especially motorized boats and lifeguards. We have three models to choose from, that offer everything you need and even a little bit more.
- Deluxe: Kiefer SaferSwimmer Buoy is available in two sizes (medium and large) to accommodate both the size of the swimmer and how much gear they are interested in carrying. Our medium size ($39.95) float is recommended for swimmers up to 190 pounds. As a bonus it has a small dry pouch ideal for holding small items such as keys, id or even a wallet. Our large size ($44.95) is ideal for swimmers over 190 pounds or for those interested in towing more gear. The dry pouch on our large float can house shoes or spare clothes. The bright colors and size of the Kiefer Safer Swimmer Buoy make swimmers more visible to those around them. They can also be used as an emergency flotation device, or to calm distressed swimmers by offering them a break. This buoy is ideal for all types of swimmers from triathletes to lap swimmers. They are excellent for those who just need a confidence boost while learning to swim in either a pool or in open water.
- Simple: Kiefer SaferSwimmer TPU Buoy model is made to last. Constructed of Thermoplastic Polyurethane this buoy can handle getting thrashed. The bright color still draws attention to the swimmer to promote safety and visibility while providing that confidence boost, we all need from time to time. This buoy is available in one size (large) for $49.95. So, if you take your buoy everywhere and throw it around, this is the float for you!
- Practical: Kiefer SaferSwimmer H2O is the perfect training partner. Not only does it attract eyes to the swimmer in the water for safety, but it also has a bonus pocket. This pocket is ideal for holding a water bottle or a pair of paddles. It is not water proof, but could also hold packaged snacks for longer swims. For swimmers who like to vary their training sessions this float is for you. Carrying a pair of paddles along will permit you to mix it up without your gear bag. Having trouble deciding what float best fits your needs? Let's take a look at what each buoy has to offer independently. If you are looking for a no frills buoy look no further than the Kiefer SaferSwimmer TPU Buoy. It is built to last and keeps things simple. You wear it, you get seen, and you can hang on it if you need a break. One and done. If you would like to have your keys with you, so they aren't left in a bag on the beach take a look at our medium size Kiefer Safer Swimmer Buoy. You can fit keys and an id into the water tight pouch. If you need more room go up to the larger size. You could fit clothes or shoes in there. The Safer Swimmer Buoy has all the benefits of a standard float plus the pockets. If you are into varied training or hydration while you swim then look into our SaferSwimmer H2O. All the standard benefits apply plus there is a small outer pocket that can hold a few items. This is not a watertight pouch so no clothes or cell phones in here. Still not sure? Go for the all encompassing Safer Swimmer Buoy. Why? Because you can't make pockets on something that doesn't have any. If you think you might want to have something with you while you swim then this is the float for you. Medium or large the size of the float won't impede your swimming, it simply gives you more options. Personally I would stick with a medium, keep my keys and my id on me while I'm out swimming.
